Day Job: Registered Nurse in the ER at
Jordan Valley Medical Center
Experience: Ummm… my whole life!
Previous Bands: Laredo, Twenty Four VII
(formerly Gruv Logic and Funkology)
Favorite artists: I just love music!
Every kind! Music has a way of touching lives in every way possible
and it means something different to everyone. Without it, life would
be soooo boring! But if I had to pick my favorite singer it would be
Christina Aguilera. That girl has some serious pipes!
Favorite foods: Pasta, chicken, and
Chips n’ salsa.

Other Hobbies: I enjoy running. I have
finished 2 full marathons and although I don’t think I have the
desire to finish another one, I run 2-3 ½ marathons a year. I also
enjoy spending time with family and friends.
Funniest thing that happened on stage:
Tripping over cords on stage and falling on my face…yeah that would
be it. I was glad the lights were down so not a lot of people
noticed or saw my skirt fly up! It was funny, but not so much the
next day nursing my bruised knee and sprained finger!
Favorite Saying: “Go big or go home”,
“Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about
learning to SING in the rain”, and "I am still determined to be
cheerful and happy, in whatever situation I may be; for I have also
learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or
misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our
circumstances."
About Amy : Amy grew up right here in
Salt Lake City in a very musical family. By the time she turned 5
she was performing in musicals at Promised Valley Playhouse, Hale
Center Theatre, and various other venues in Utah. Amy has toured all
over the country singing and dancing in small performing groups. Her
major influence is her dad who played with a country western band
“Laredo” for many years. Amy has been singing lead for the band
“Twenty Four VII” for the past 10 years and is so excited to join
“LOL” to continue on her musical journey! .
